In accordance with the approved State Program in a year of active investments and social development and the Order of the Government dated January 24, 2019, the International Legal Forum "Tashkent Law Spring" will be held in Tashkent on April 25-27.
International Legal Forum is being held for the first time in the history of independent Uzbekistan.
The ministers of justice and heads of other state authorities of different countries have been invited to participate, along with representatives of judicial bodies, international law and consulting firms, large companies, international organizations, as well as leading scientists and experts in the field of law.
Participants will be able to take part in discussion sessions on "Good Governance", "Ensuring the Rule of Law and reform of the judicial and legal system" and "Active investment policy", round tables, master classes and presentations, as well as listen to lectures by international and national experts.
Due to the announcement of 2019 as the Year of Active Investments and Social Development in Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of the Forum the representatives of the government and foreign business structures will be given the opportunity to discuss promising areas of investment cooperation.
Besides, foreign participants interested in arranging meetings with the heads of relevant ministries, agencies and other state organizations of Uzbekistan may contact the organizers, who will assist them on this matter.
The Forum program also includes an awarding ceremony for winners in nominations of "Best Lawyer of the Year", "Best Bar Association of the Year", "Best Corporate Legal Service of the Year".
The working languages of the Forum are Uzbek, Russian and English.
To date, the composition of the Organizational Committee for preparation and holding the Forum and the Plan of organizational measures have been approved, the website of the Forum http://tashkentlawspring.uz has been launched.
In order to create conveniences for those wishing to participate in the upcoming event, the possibility of online registration on the Forum website has been provided.
Accreditation of representatives of foreign and national media interested in coverage of the event will begin on March 1, 2019 and will end on April 15.
