Preparations for the II International Law Forum “Tashkent Law Spring” has started

II International Legal Forum “Tashkent Law Spring” will be held in the capital city on April 23–25, 2020.

            The forum is organized for the second time by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the assistance of a number of partner organizations.


For information: The 1st International Law Forum “Tashkent Law Spring” was held in April 2019. He brought together over 1,200 lawyers from different areas of law, including 250 foreign participants from more than 40 countries in the world. During the Forum sessions, 134 experts participated with presentation, 100 of them were foreign specialists. Furthermore, 12 memorandums and agreements were concluded with various leading organizations. Last but not least, "Tashkent Law Spring" events were covered by more than 100 national and foreign media representatives.

The 2019 International Legal Forum has received a huge interest among both local and foreign experts in the legal field, which has motivated organizers to arrange a similar event in 2020 as well.

Today, IT technologies are increasingly used in all areas of life. Strengthening globalization, the rapid development of the Internet and artificial intelligence directly affect also the sphere of law. Taking into account the importance of legal regulation of these issues, the main theme of the II International Legal Forum is defined as the “Vision of Law in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Law 4.0.”.

The II International Legal Forum will have discussions on mediation, arbitration, advocacy, corporate governance, securities, intellectual property, public-private partnerships, combating corruption and compliance, antimonopoly issues, legal education and science, and other topics in the context of large-scale digitalization.

The Forum is expected to involve ministers of justice of Uzbekistan and other foreign countries, heads of judicial and state bodies, representatives of international organizations, world-leading consulting firms, lawyers, famous scientists, specialists, and experts in the fields of jurisprudence, international law and economics.

The participants will have the opportunity to attend 20 discussion sessions, round tables, workshops, and presentations, listen to lectures by international and national experts, exchange views and experience with colleagues from different countries.

The Forum events will be held in Uzbek, Russian and English languages.
