Alexis Mourre, President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, is one of the world-famous lawyers in the field of International arbitration.
He has served as an arbitrator, expert or party representative in more than 260 international arbitration proceedings, has held a number of high institutional positions in the field of Arbitration, Co-Chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee 2012-2013), member of the London Court of International Arbitration (2012-2015), member of the Arbitration Council of the Milan Chamber of Commerce (2006-2014).
Alexis Mourre is a President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration since July 1st 2015.
Alexis Mourre is the author of several books and many articles in the field of International Commercial Law, International Private Law, a founder of the Paris International Arbitration magazine Les Cahiers de l'Arbitrage, a leading French publication in the field of Arbitration.
It also should be noted that, the well-known consulting firm Castaldi Mourre & Partners, which includes 35 legal firms specializing in arbitration and dispute resolution, was founded by Alexis Mourre in 1996 year.
He is fluent in French, English, Spanish and Italian, and has good knowledge of Portuguese.
